Privacy Policy

1. Karunattu iPhone

The Karunattu iPhone app is account-free. It does not collect or transmit personal data to Karunattu. You can use the practice, listening, composition, and recording tools without registering or signing in.

2. Data not collected

For the iPhone app, we do not collect email addresses, names, account identifiers, practice history, pitch samples, recordings, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, payment details, analytics, or crash reports. App Store Connect answer: No, we do not collect data from this app. Tracking answer: No.

3. Local processing and storage

• Microphone audio is processed on the device after you open a feature that needs live pitch analysis. Raw audio is not uploaded to Karunattu.
• Practice sessions, pitch insights, progress, preferences, and recordings remain in the app's local storage.
• You can delete local data through the app's reset/delete controls where available, or by uninstalling the app.
• The iPhone release does not enable account, profile, practice-sync, teacher, duet, or ledger network transport.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Karunattu Plus and Pro are optional auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store. StoreKit 2 handles payment, renewal, cancellation, and Restore Purchases. Karunattu does not receive your card number, billing address, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials. The app reads the verified Apple entitlement locally to unlock subscription features.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restoring a purchase does not require a Karunattu account.

5. Optional external actions

• Apple Music and Spotify links open external listening searches; Karunattu does not access those music libraries or listening histories.
• If you explicitly share an export through iOS, the destination you choose receives that copy. Karunattu does not collect the shared file.

6. Children

The iPhone app does not require an account and does not transmit personal data from children or adults to Karunattu. Parents can remove local app data through iOS deletion/reset controls.

7. Web services

This page is also the public privacy URL linked from the App Store. Any separate web feature that asks a visitor to create an account or submit information will identify that action before submission. Those web interactions are not used by the account-free iPhone binary and are outside the iPhone App Privacy declaration.
